IV Solutions
Medical Practitioners most frequently administer IV Solutions in Hospital settings and Surgery Centers in order to quickly and accurately change blood concentration levels of fluids, electrolytes, or medications by either a continuous, intermittent, or IV push method to most patients admitted. Some of the more common IV Fluids administered are Dextrose 5%, Sodium Chloride 0.9%, and Lactated Ringers. These are typically supplied in 250mL, 500mL, and 1000mL IV bags.
