Muscle Relaxer
Medical Practitioners in clinical settings administer a variety of Muscle Relaxers such as Methocarbamol (Robaxin) to treat acute, painful, musculoskeletal conditions or to treat localized spasm due to a muscle injury. Bentyl dicyclomine is a smooth muscle relaxer used in the treatment of IBS. Other Muscle Relaxers such as Succinylcholine Chloride (Anectine; Quelicin; Rocuronium) are administered by Anesthesiologists, usually by IV, pre-surgery, to help relax the throat for breathing tube insertion.
